Cruising the Caribbean
It has been years since I was on a cruise in the Caribbean but I am thinking maybe it’s time to plan another trip that includes a cruise ship, sun, sand, water and luxury. A guest blogger sent this post in promoting his home and the cruise ships that visit there.
When it comes to finding a luxury getaway that ticks all the right boxes, you can’t go far wrong with a Caribbean cruise.
Let’s face it – the Caribbean is one of those magical destinations that pretty much all of us dream about. Whether it’s gracing the backdrop of a James Bond blockbuster or calling to us from the glossy centre pages of a luxury travel magazine, the Caribbean is a highly sought-after holiday hotspot. And it’s not hard to see why. It has a dreamy combination of sparkling shores, powder-soft white sands and rustling palms that nod gently overhead, making it the perfect spot for a romantic getaway.
Taking it one step further, why settle for just one Caribbean destination when you could opt for several, all in one holiday?
Luxury Caribbean cruises are the perfect way to escape to a world of spoil-me-silly opulence. Enjoy long sunny days spent exploring the castaway paradise of St Lucia, Dominica or perhaps the Bahamas, before returning to the ship for a refreshing sundowner before dinner, followed by your choice of fabulous cuisine in one of several different restaurants from around the world. Then it’s into the theatre, off to the cinema, on deck to relax under the stars or perhaps onto the dance floor. The choice is yours!
Of course exploring paradise both on and off shore doesn’t come cheap. But thanks to today’s ultra competitive holiday industry and a wide range of operators ready and waiting to tempt your custom, you might be surprised at the amount of cheap cruises that are available. The best way to find a cruise that suits your budget is to shop around and keep your eyes open for deals or special offers, either on last-minute holidays or those departing next year.
One thing’s for sure, a luxury cruise in the Caribbean isn’t a holiday you’ll forget in a hurry…
PS: During trips ashore I think being able to carry your stuff in an over the shoulder bagallini bag would be the perfect thing. Read more about how I hate carrying a purse but love these bags!
